Real Life. Real Talk. Parents Night Out
The Real Life. Real Talk. Parent Program is a 90-minute event focusing on youth romance, sex and friendships in the 21st Century. The event is anchored by a 20-minute video on the realites of kids, a 20-minute interactive exercise on parent-youth communication and 25 minutes of time in which parents explore how youth today utilize technology and join in dialogue. Two facilitators – one connected with Real Life. Real Talk., the other a staff member at a community partner organization – host the event, leading brief discussions and short interactive exercises.
